Brittney Bliss, the 5-year-old South Hadley girl whose story inspired birthday cards from across the nation, died June 6, about a year after doctors diagnosed her with cancer.

A brave four-year-old battling cancer is hoping to make her upcoming 5th birthday extra special. Rather than traditional presents, she’s asking for something far more meaningful: birthday cards.
